Getting listens and likes on your soundcloud page is nice. But likes and listens won’t buy you that new keyboard or mic you’ve been dreaming of.

Or write ‘Donate’ and link to a patreon or a PayPal. You’ll be surprised how many super-fans out there will support your music from doing this.
SoundCloud is one of the most important longstanding online music communities why not tell a story with your waveform as you know soundcloud allows fans to comment on your waveform but also you can make comments yourself why not tell people about your process when making your music use the waveform comments to tell your fans and community about your it maybe what instruments you use and recording format and tricks this will help you engage with your fans and followers and keep them coming back to your account .
It’s best to be transparent about how you made your track you can even ask for feedback and mention specific sections for them to listen to . An Example would be, If you’re not sure about a section of your track make a comment on the waveform where the drop part starts. Something like not sure about the bass here.
